Dear XC-Open pilots,
you can still register online for the 2011 XC-Open Serra de Estrela e Mirandela in Portugal which will take place from August 27 to September 03 and get the early payment discount.
The early payment discount of 130 Euros instead of 160 Euros is valid until June 26 2011 ---- Young pilots up to 28 years (d.o.b. after 26AUG1983) pay only 99 Euros and after June 26 160 Euros as well.
Here is a link to the payment website. Payments are possible by bank transfer, PayPal or Moneybookers.
The local organization by WIND Centro de Actividades de Montanha, José Cardoso, is doing a great job for the XC-Open pilots.
- Pilots can use the Camping in Linhares and Mirandela free of charge; there will be some tents available as well
- Several Hotels are offering a special discount for XC-Open pilots - have a look at our website for details
- The transport from and to the airport in Porto or Lisboa is included in the entry fee
- The transport to the take off and the retrieve after the flight is included in the entry fee
